We are very concerned about sustainability!

The bull skins come from south region of Germany. The skins are tanned in Austria at a traditional tannery from the 16th century. 

The leather is vegetatively tanned. In this special case it is old tanned. That means mainly loh tanned with spruce and oak bark. Also other kinds of wood are used.
